The song was born out of a period of deep emotional turmoil and remained a private diary entry for years. As Karen admits, it was an attempt to channel the pain of betrayal and loneliness when "the soul was screaming."

“This is an incredibly personal story,” says Karen. “The song poured out of me at a moment when my heart and soul felt shattered. I was as vulnerable as a child, and my entire being wanted to disappear. For a long time, I thought such ‘sentimental musings’ were unnecessary in a world already full of pain. But now, having let go, I understood: this music had to see the light. I believe it can give voice to the feelings of those going through something similar and maybe even help them break free from their chains.”
